A 5-piece group that lives up to its hype as “a different kind of Blues band”, Bentroots plays with Blues, R&B, Rock and elements of Gypsy soul to create a unique sound every Mon. 8-11 at East York eatery and music emporium Relish at 2152 Danforth Ave. a block east of Woodbine.

Fronted by Nick Balkou, complemented by Michael Fonfara on piano, Ed Roth on accordion and anchored by Robert Newman on bass and Duncan McBain on drums, this combo is highly entertaining.
