In case you’ve been visiting another planet and hadn’t heard, Justin Bieber is performing a show tonight to benefit the Stratford Food Bank at east Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall.

Given that busy shows there often flood the neighbourhood with tour vehicles and crowds of hepped-up kids, and the fact that a media circus can also be expected to play out there tonight, Dora Keogh, located two doors away, has decided to cancel tonight’s edition of Julian Taylor’s open stage.

That’s a pity because the Bieb’ could learn a few things if he stopped in after his performance to sit in with J.T. and the gang. The open stage with Sebastian Agnello across the street at Black Swan continues as scheduled –maybe Seb or one of the other talented players will agree to back Justin for a couple of numbers if he pops in there.
