/// I have just received word that Rob Bellmore, popularly known as The Blues Butcher, has passed away while in Cuba. I talked to the Blues singer and ace harp player on Sat. April 12 when he was in town and having a brew at his favourite local, Black Swan Tavern on Danforth.

He mentioned he was heading back to Cuba and still dealing with some unspecified medical issues. Cause of death is not known at this point but believed to be medically related. More details as they become available…
