Versatile keyboardist Rick Anderson is a regular participant at Rock and Blues jams across the city and —when he’s not busy during the winter with his snow-clearing service— often also gets the call to sit in with a variety of bands for gigs.

Lately he’s become part of the house troupe that hosts the Monday night Rock jam at Rockpile in Etobicoke, where Al Reilly and his Catalyst crew —which also includes guitarist Anthony Cee— welcome a diverse lineup of acts and styles.

Tonight the gang and regulars will help Anderson celebrate his birthday at the 8-12 event in the room at 5555 Dundas St. West —which, of course, probably means they’ll take turns buying him drinks and testing his stamina as they get him to work his ass off all night playing with everyone in sight!
