Veteran Pop Rock songwriter Frank Wilks has been making his living on the entertainment scene for a long time, so fortunately he doesn’t easily get thrown by the vagaries of the business. But even he sounded a bit flabbergasted as he did promo damage control earlier this week due to a last-minute change in scheduling and format for his now weekly show at the new Breakwall club at 1910 Queen St. E. in TO’s Beaches area.

After several weeks of having Frank do Friday nights, the owner (I haven’t met him but am willing to bet he’s a neophyte) decided to switch the show to Saturday and to have Frank bring in his Freedom Express band —at least for this week! Show starts at 8 and there’s no cover —unless the owner changes his mind!
