Although his voice may not be what you’d call passionate, really, Howard Gladstone’s lyrics convey a depth of feeling, including a lot of anger at the sorry way we humans run our society.
He writes a lot (though not exclusively, by any means) about social justice issues and took up the cause of unfairly convicted Tammy Marquardt (now freed).
Tonight, along with Arnie Naiman and Kathy Reed, he’s featured at Dominion On Queen (500 Queen St. E.) as part of its biweekly Wee Folk Club night starting at 7:30.
