At last night’s kickoff party for Winterfolk XI at Delta Chelsea Hotel‘s Monarchs Tavern, festival executive director Brian Gladstone was presented with an award from the Metroland Media corp. on behalf of Toronto  Community Papers, which has printed the annual festival’s program as an insert in its publications for several years. The award honoured Brian’s vision in creating the festival 12 years ago and its role in helping to build community.
