Not that there’s even a remote chance of it happening, but if no other musicians show up tonight for the monthly last-Saturday Shawn Brush & Friends show put on at Oakville’s Moonshine Café, patrons wouldn’t have to worry about getting a full night of entertainment.

I saw first-hand how Shawn, aka The Krooked Cowboy,  can step up (so to speak) to fill out a full show when the other half of the duo he was supposed to be part of for a Winterfolk XI show last Sunday wasn’t there to start the set. Unfazed, Shawn proceed to captivate a nearly full house expecting a Blues jam with his own exquisitely crafted Country-Americana and Blues-infused tunes.
