Versatile Michael Keith, who hosts a weekly open mic at La Revolucion in the Junction area Thursdays, this afternoon appears as solo showcase performer for the brunch show at nearby Humble Beginnings. The host of that event, Nicole Coward, will visit Keith’s stomping grounds later in the day as she appears as part of a double bill this evening. Turnabout is fun play! -17

The guiding light of the Durham Region Music Society puts on shows featuring other artists, hosts a weekly Blues jam, acts as occasional side man and does showcases with his Full Count Blues Band. Tonight’s gig at West Shore Bar & Grill in Pickering will also feature a ton of special guests as he celebrates his birthday, -17
